Cat's Eye possesses a unique effect that resembles the slit eye of a cat caused by the reflection of light,
called chatoyancy. True cat's eye is created with a variety of chrysoberyl mineral and the most favoured variety is the honey-brown
coloured tiger eye.
Fatlip's cat's eye jewellery uses the man-made version, which features the beautiful chatoyancy effect and
comes in a wide range of colours.
Some people believe that wearing cat's eye jewellery protects against evil spirits.
